I have been working with Matt for over 12 months now. My first interaction was a keynote speech Matt delivered to the 500+ team on high performance. I’ve been seeing Matt as my coach for almost a year, and what an almost year it’s been. I have known Griggsy for over ten years but worked closely with him for 5 years when he was the Pit Boss for Ripcurl. Griggsy is very knowledgeable about health and fitness and was awesome to work with on technique, heat tactics and coaching of surfing. His wisdom and professional attitude was a giant help with my 2007 World title campaign.

Griggsy’s range of knowledge is incredible. He’s got the knowledge on how to get to a World Title, but it’s beyond that. Things like nutrition, mentality, the mind and meditating. I can have a million things going on in my head, so meditating has helped to control that and see the things I need to focus on.
